Number 5 Thierry Henry – Barcelona – Yearly Earnings €16 m
Thierry Henry was born August 17, 1977 in Les Ulis, Essonne, Paris. He currently plays for Barcelona in Spain. He moved to Spain from English club Arsenal, where he is the club’s all-time leading goal scorer. He has been hailed for his tremendous pace, class, an impeccable first touch and sublime finishing. Henry has been nominated for the FIFA World Player of the Year twice, both times finishing runner-up.
Henry’s move to Barcelona has not been the success that many anticipated. He has spend a lot of the time warming the bench and has been out-shined by other players such a Lionel Messi. In 2004, he became the youngest ambassador of the United Nations’ World Food Programme. In 2009 Kaka move to Spanish giants Real Madrid. The fee is reported to be about $85m, which was a new world record. Kaka is in Brazil’s world cup squad and the experts are expecting him to light up the tournament.

Ronaldo was born on the 5th February 1985, in Madeira, which is owned by the Portuguese. He started his career with sporting but his career didn’t truly come to life until he joined Manchester United in 2003. Ronaldo won a host of trophy’s while at Manchester United and won FIFA player of the year award in 2008.
Ronaldos last game at Man Utd was the champions league final in 2009. Barcelona were too good for United but Ronaldo was one of the few Reds players to come out with any credit for his work rate and creativity. Cristiano Ronaldo was formally introduced to Real Madrid at the Bernabeu stadium, with a world record 75,000 fans turning up to hear and see their newest star. Ronaldo is in the current Portugal squad for the South Africa World cup. Portugal aren’t fancied to progress very far in the tournament but with Ronaldo in the team you can never discount them. He is capable of winning games by himself.
