Some of you may have heard about the Law of Attraction but in reality very few people are really aware what it is really about. People try to explain the Law of Attraction in various ways. The commonest definition is… “If you strongly believe that something should happen, it will happen.” Some of you wont be any clearer about the law of attraction after reading this but some of you will be inspired and implement the positive thought process.
The fundimental theory of the law of attraction is quite simple, but you will immediately realize that it raises more questions than it answers. The question of desires is the most important. Is it only what we desire and think about strongly that will happen? Or will things that we don’t desire also happen if we somehow think strongly about them?
Then there is also the question of internal conflict of thoughts. At times, there could be situations where we think equally in both ways. For example, we may think that a job could be ours, so how do we truly apply the Law of Attraction? Or what do we do when we are thinking strongly about something and someone else is thinking strongly about the exact opposite thing? Do the two strong thoughts nullify each other?
Using the law of attraction is an effective way to change your life for the better, but you need to apply the logic behind it correctly.
The law of attraction is said to be constantly working in our everyday life. Believing in the law of attraction will encourage you to take responsibility and take action to improve your life and bring about all your wants. This element of self-responsibility is fundamental. If we truly believe we are at the mercy of outside forces and helpless, we will not have the energy or motivation to preform any positive action.
Our subconscious mind does not recognise negatives so it is important to focus on the things that you do want. If for example you affirm that I don’t want any debt – your subconscious mind will only hear the word “debt”. We all think of debt as a negative and this is how the subconscious interprets your wants so you should focus only on the positive outcome.
The power of belief is extremely powerful when you consider the placebo effect and many other experiments. The power of belief is fundamental to the effectiveness of the law.
In a nutshell, to make the law of attraction work you need to decide what you want and visualise your desire. Once you have visualised what you want, you need to support your affirmation with emotion and believe it unquestioningly. Keep a positive outlook in your life and get back up if things don’t work out the way you want them to. Take every failure as a learning curve and take out the positives by believing that you can turn around negative consequences into positive results.
